Welcome to MDG Burn Recovery

A note from Mikey:

Hello again everybody

Salt Lake City isn't anywhere near one of my favorite places to be living. Lots of smog-filled dirty air days, rain, and the occasional snow, which does not last. But as far as progress:

Daily exercises are much easier, even on the lazy days. I still do have those un-motivated, down days. I am getting in the gym 2-4 days per week, doing a lot of treadmill and bike exercises. That does make me feel much better. I've also started lifting weights and getting back in condition to try and surf again, very soon.

The once weekly Therapy visits are going better than expected and I may be finished with those by late next week. At that point it will be completely up to me pushing myself to increased mobility and strength.

The wounds on my ankle are almost completely healed.  Mobility in my ankle is about 50% close to as much as it will get. I am surprised how much I can still do with only that much flexibility.

My right hand is holding up to playing guitar longer and the strumming is coming back. I am finally working on my tunes again. I am STOKED!!!

Kate and I are really looking forward to our move back to San Diego. One day at a time, I know we'll get there, and most assuredly be prepared for all of the adjustments.  Thank you so much for all of your support and kindness.

Peace to you all. MATANE! Check me out!
