Has it been this long since I last updated? Thanks Jed for reminding me. Each day melds into the next and I forget how long it's been. Holler at me sooner next time folks, I want to keep you up to date as much as possible.
Last night JR, Dr X, and Foolsbane put on a screaming show in Mike's honor at the Ballroom in Twin Falls, ID. Thanks bruddas.
Michael is recovering from surgery this weekend, although it's his birthday on Sunday he'll probably be in bed recovering. We'll make it up to him when he's out RIGHT? This looks to be one of the final surgeries in this long and drawn out process although there is much rehab yet to be done.
This was a skin graft on Michael's right foot and ankle. That's some good news right there kids, because that means his foot is healing well enough to put some skin over it. The wound vac did wonderful things in keeping his foot from being amputated. Thanks docs and nurses, HUGE.
If all goes well, Michael will be able to leave the hospital and make his new home in Salt Lake, throughout the recovery, in 10-14 days. Daily visits to the hospital for physical therapy etc. will still be needed, but he will be home.
